A cluster of islands and urban identities, planned as one water city and built in phases.
A city-scale masterplan organizing a cluster of islands within an expanded river channel into a mixed-use water city, connected back to the existing urban grid by the Chengdu Living Bridge.
Seven urban identities, from a high-density mixed downtown to campus, park, city block, and low-rise sub-urban housing, each carry their own rules for density, height, and architectural character, giving a single planning framework room for genuine variety block to block. A phased development strategy sequences the islands and waterfront across multiple stages of construction.
